NAVIGATOR: What's Best?

I just recently bought a car without a navigator, I would have wanted a built in navigator but even the car salesman suggested might as well buy a separate Nav. The Price of Car with Built-in Nav is significantly higher, i.e., 20K riyal because you'll only get the built-in Nav (+ other upgrades) at the car's Full Option.

Garmin no doubt. large enough screen, accurate, portable and loaded with GCC maps.

we take with us when traveling around.

we also had nissan install a built in GPS with DVD in our pathfinder even after sale.

you might want to look into similar as well

Which ever you go for you can guarantee that you'll still get screwed by roadworks. My Garmin still insists on me taking D Ring!

Phone GPS screens are too small to use safely while driving. Go for a NUVI instead - available at Garmin shop Jabr bin Mohammed street near QNB on Corniche or PC One on Salwa Road

Garmin is probably the best.

But remember that Qatar has developed loads over the last 2 years and is developing further at a rapid rate so expect quite a few errors in your GPS.
