What do you use to clean camera lenses? particularly SLR cameras.

camera lenses are sensitive...leave it to the camera repair man if i were you...

hi there!

my english is bad but hope you will understand. to clean it deeply use a soft facial tissu (good quality) and put a bit water on it, clean the lense.

then, to take off dust, use the kind of tissu we can find in glasses box to clean them. it will remove it.

so use this for dust, and tissu+water when it's dirty like oil or finger prints.

I just bought some lens cleaning fluid, which seems to be the same stuff as for cleaning spectacles!

Always use a lint free cloth.

That said, I have a UV filter on all my lenses to avoid touching the front element of the lens itself and also to give some mechanical protection against accidental knocks.

Mostly dry and clean cotton cloth..

But there is a solution availble in the market (camera shops) thats used to clean lenses.
