Villa Compounds in Al Waab

Rolling Stone
By Rolling Stone

Our apartment lease is expiring in July this year and we are considering moving to a Villa Compound, preferably in the Al Waab area near Villagio.

Our max budget is QR 16,000/month for a 3 or 4 bedroom unfurnished or semi-furnished villa.

Can anyone recommend nice villa compounds in that area which are family friendly with decent facilities (pool, gym etc)?

Constructive input very much appreciated.

All good information - thanks.

I'm still curious to see what happens with rental prices. Some say they are coming down and others say they are still going up.

I guess the demand is still there for the more popular compounds which means prices will probably stay high for these.

Just seen Al Waab La Villa and was told that the rental for the furnished villa was QR25,000. In my opinion very, very over priced especially as rental properties are supposed to be dropping.

Furniture was of a very poor standard and the a/c would be inadequate in the height of the summer. One small spilt a/c per room and no a/c on the stair and landing.

No where for children to play outside except in the street between the cars!!!!!! No greenery at all, not even a single tree or plant. Looked like glorified government housing!!!!!!

On the plus side the swimming pool wasnt a bad size!!!!

Hi,

Im due to move out in February and my wife will be following me in a few months hopefully. Id like to be able to get a villa for us when she is here, probably with a budget of 15,000. Is it possible to get a nice villa in this range?
