You can get lots of points by spamming peoples posts as many here do!

This is just a thought, but since this question comes up repeatedly, maybe Qatar Living can have a little Qatar Living Points link at the top of the page, next to Classified Rules, About, etc. A person would only need to click on it and voila...the information is right there. All you senior QL people won't have to bother answering the question. And the newbies, like myself, won't be sitting and waiting for a plane ticket.

They are PORK Points...the more points one accumulates the greater the chances of winning a slab of Pork ribs; free flights to a nearby country that serves pork and a membership to QLSP group. (UKEngQatar= too funny)

do you mean QL points? if yes, you get points for each post or answer or any contribution to QL.

sometimes points are useful when joining a group here in QL, and to determine if you're an active member, they have some minimum points required. The books swap for example, requires at least 30 points, active for at least a month or something, then you can join the book swap club.

if you didn't mean QL points, well i can only wish you were specific with your question!
