NYT
Here's a story I noticed in Ngourlay's twitter feed: http://twitter.com/WeirdWeb
The New York times are being sued by GateHouse Media, a small newspaper published, over copyright theft.
The complaint is over the practice of putting the headline and first sentences of the article on a newspaper - along with the link to the original source.
The NYT times is defending itself, calling it normal linking practice.
However, the majority of internet readers don't go beyond the first paragraph of a story.
What's more, the practice also means that the New York Times is stealing the keywords of the story - and as they are smaller and less important than the New York Times, it is the New York times which will show up for the keywords and the writer of the paper.

Remember, if you are reporting a story you have read elsewhere, it is better to summarise it in your own words than to copy and paste it.
.
.yeah right, but i guess it is faster to copy and paste.
