No, never said that

I said anyone with a weapon, not a stone. In the time of David and Goliah, a stone was a weapon

"any civilian carrying any kind of weapon is considered a militar target"

a stone?

a stone in a kid's hand?

that's weapon???

and a kid it's a target for you??

Another thing, any civilian carrying any kind of weapon is considered a militar target. The story of David and Goliah is pretty different from this situation, it isn't impossible to to hit another human with a stone killing him, now when you try to throw a stone at a moving tank, what are the odds of damaging/killing the tank?

These Images are disturbing...but Peace cannot come out of a barrel of a gun.

It never has It never will.

There still will not be peace if the boy was Israeli & the tank Palestanian and the tables changed.

The only chance for peace is to stop the fighting.

Expecting other country to intervene is being too optimistic. No 3rd country will intervene....no body did intervene when a middle east power like Iraq was invaded.

But then Israel will not want the fighting or the occasional rocket fire to end because they are always gaining "Terrority".

The boy is dead....most probably the tank driver also is dead...or will die in battle. One cannot expect life while going in to Battle whether one is armed with a stone or a Tank.

The end result is clear...for every difficult there is ease.

Poverty is not for the sake of hardship. No, it is there because nothing exists but God. Poverty unlocks the door -- what a blessed key!

A paradox that a country that was founded on the basis of persecution, should now persecute others.

The traumja of children living in such conditions is hard to comprehend and cannot really be imagined..

Tanks against stones. Perhaps this is the watershed of this conflict and out of this will come hope and peace.

If I Only Knew (As a Palestinian Child)

By Amany Hajyassin

Whenever I look

Into the eyes of a Palestinian child

My tears start shedding

I can't imagine what he is living through

If I only knew

As a Palestinian child

What it would be like

To see bombs coming down

And not rain

What it would be like

To see blood on the ground

Or to see my older brother

Covered in blood

If I only knew

As a Palestinian child

What it would be like

To hear the sounds of bombs

And helicopters and gun shootings

Day and night

How am I able to describe

That fear in the eyes

Of a Palestinian child?

Looking into their eyes

And trying to imagine

How their life would be

Without shootings and bombs

Bursting in air

If I only knew

As a Palestinian child
