Hi, I had an offer letter from QP four months ago & I applied for the police clearance at the finger prints department on 04/Sep/08 & till today I got nothing they are always saying it is security procedures I am here in Doha from 1999 never been in any case or fight or any other criminal or bank problems, and now I am in trouble of waiting cause when QP requested the NOC letter from my old company I had to resign as they ask me to(my old company),the result I am setting at home waiting for the police letter & spending money on my family(living,rental,car...etc) for almost 3 months.please advice if there is any way we can urge this paper or find the reason the delay.

hi there, the usual practice is not to resign until you get your CID clearance (what you call as police clearance). Nobody in CID owes you an explanation of reason for the delay. But you can do two things, one is to pray and wait, and the other is to ask your previous employer/ future employer to help you.

I went through the same thing myself, and it took me four months to actually recover from this situation. But if you would be joining QP, i am almost sure that once you're onboard QP, you will recover quickly. so be patient. it's the process, hope for the best, get someone to help you, and hope you a great new year with QP.
