Hi,
I've been having a problem with finance a lot lately. You see my basic salary is about 4, 500 QAR plus commission that comes up to 5, 500 QAR per month. I live in with my father separately and don't need much of my salary for food, shelter or transportation. But my issue is that the fact that i know my salary is within my reach, i intend to spend it all on friends, outings and all within the first few days of receiving my salary. I've opened up 3 accounts in 3 different banks, kept money with my finance and even tried to stash it somewhere but yet knowing that it is there i intend to still use it all. I need help and would love to get rid of this habit.

If there is an aim or goal in your life you will give up a lot of things in life. That is why guys ( and girls) change after marriage,as they say.

So try buying a small plot in your homecountry, or invest in a gold biscuit or coin or something affordable which you can see with your eyes. That will motivate you to keep a part of salary, as soon as it reaches you.

If you are a drinker, seek help.

And the minute you stop spending for your friends, you will see their number dwindling to almost zero.

All the best.

I assume you are a guy the sounds of it. You live with your parents.. that means no cost for housing and food. The best way to save is to give to your mom she will keep it safe for you I suppose

How old r u again? U know, one should know how to take care of their things. If at this age, you can't manage your money-flow, by the time you are ready to be all alone when your family decides to call it the quits and leave Qatar 4 good, what would you do then? The only way is the make a list of things that you feel are class A important, then so and so for, try it out for a week. Keeping your friends & if habits like drinking at class C (Lesser important). You need understand that as age goes bye, you wouldn't be the same as you are now. Good Luck.
