Are there any Macedonians or people from Former YUgoslavia living in Doha?

My husband and I relocated to Doha from London 10 days ago, where we had lived 22 years, but originally come from different parts of Former YU.
We have a 6 years old son and would like to meet people of similar background.
We will be celebrating Orthodox Christmas on 6th January and would be nice to find out if any celebrations are being organized in Doha for the occasion.

I have quite a few friends from Macedonia here in Qatar you could meet. They're from Thessaloniki, Kavala, Katerini and Ptolemaida.

Macedonia is lovely esp Lake Ohrid...

Hello! Welcome to Qatar! I am from Serbia and ofcourse I am celebrating Christmas on old calendar too. Here is very active Greek Orthodox Church and I maybe they will organize something. I'll try to find out and I will let you know.
