I wanted to suggest South Africa, but a week will not be enough to enjoy what it has to offer. There is so many things you can do....it is good for relaxation or if you up for adventure...you will definately have a blast that you won't forget!!! It is the best time of the year to visit as all the locals are in holiday mode and the place is packed with tourists....+ for a single guy you will not regret it!!!

Panama is a fantastic place to holiday, especially for a single man! There is plenty to see and do during the day (there's more than just a canal there!) and the social life in the evening is superb.

The only issue is the travelling time to get there and back in a week......but with good planning (utilising the weekends here), it would be no problem. KLM fly from Amsterdam straight into Panama City........

Wherever you go, enjoy!

Try out Reykjavik the Capital of Iceland, it's great and you will have a lifetime experience, if that is to exotic you can try out Copenhagen or Milan which is the best of Europe and very different to the Middle East. If you want a warmer Climate, try out Thailand or Cambodia both great.

Anywhere in the world? I suggest you go to France. Then go skiing in Chamonix. You'll love it! ;-P
