would like to add small things 1st of all who said muslim man can marry a chris or jew lady... ???? wrong concept actually its allowed to marry a beliver of a book so v can say its allowed to marry jew or chris.. but one more condition is there.. that no one understands i guess it says that the lady jew or chris.. should be pious and clean and pure. WHICH MY FRIENDS IT VERY HARD TO FIND NOW A DAYS..! SO simple answer to muslim brothers is no its not allowed. sorry but it goes like this... wot to do..
I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST AND FOR SURE YOU CAN GO AND MARRIED , BUT YOU MUST GET FROM YOUR EMBASSY ALL REQUIRED PAPERS AS SINGEL CERTIFICATE , PERMISSION OF YOUR SPONSOR ETC. WHY YOU DO NOT GO TO THE COURT AND ASK?
guys, thank u so much for the ur answers esp to qatarisun. actually, i would like to become muslim not for this man that i am marrying but because i believe this is the TRUE faith. i have been reading materials about islam & my heart leads me to believe in Allah. Sometimes, in this life, we find instruments to find the truth and it's up to us to decide that's why we are given the skill to think. of course, i agree not to convert just for other reasons it just so happens that i love this man & i am convinced of what he believe in. whether i marry him or not, i am embracing Islam faith.good evening to all!
Of course it is possible! Who told you it’s impossible?? And you do not have to become a muslim. As I understand you are the bride-christian, and the groom is the musim, right? So it’s better if your guy goes to the Shariah court, they will tell him exactly what they require, and they barely speak English there. They for sure will ask for your passports. Then they will ask a letter from your that you are Christian and want to marry [NAME], muslim. They may ask you a permit from your Dad or your brother. If no any Man from your family is available here, they may ask your for the letter, explaining the situation. All the documents and letters from your side must be translated into Arabic. Then your guy bring all the paper to the court, they arrange the Date for the marriage. It can be in a next couple of days, or any other day on your choice. Then at the day of the marriage you guys come to the court, they first check your documents again, verify your ID. Then you go to the second floor, to see a Judge, who asks you how much money you want before Marriage and how much you want upon Divorce. Be ready with the numbers. Then he will bless you in the name of Allah, and that's it. All the procedure takes about 40-45 minutes. Bring 2 witnesses with you. Khalas. Done. You can arrange the reception/party the same evening at home or in the restaurant… Nothing complicated. Everyone can do it...:)
Well if muslim -christian is not allowed here then better go to Philippines you can go to Quiapo or Maharlika village in Taguig and no need for you to convert to Islam.
Get married out of Doha and stay out of Doha (find a job elsewhere). Some countries allow Muslims to marry Christians without converting - like South Africa, I believe. Qatar does not allow it (and neither does mine).
Your alternative is to convert - but like Marooz said - only do so if you really have faith, and not just to get married ie. we suggest you don't use it as a means to a temporal (earthly) end. Good luck in your decision.
First of all you must become a muslim. Not for the sake of the marriage but with true faith in alimighty Allah. Once you are done with this, you can think about the 2nd step..
Well.........I really dnt have an answer for this qns..........but u knw...i dnt think u will be abe to make it up in doha.its always a muslim should marry a muslim...............
