Philippines President GMA is set to come to Doha and will appear in the Catholic Church ( to attend the mass??) and have a dinner or welcome party in Sheraton, any comment? Our company was invited to join her in the dinner but was canceled due to security reasons... for what? As far as I know Qatar is a sage place....

Regardless of how safe a country is, any visit by a head of state will have very high security.

Good for her..Another picture taking and progress report. and an escape on protest against her CHA CHA..

The most greedy president the Philippines ever had! worst than Ferdinand Marcos.

As if she really cares! She just care with the Remitance of OFWs.

The more remitance we send the most chances of covering her failure to take the Philippines out of poverty!

OFW Remitance = Higher peso

Higher Peso = Good economy (in papers)

Good Economy (in papers) = Ganda points for GMA

Ganda Points for GMA = good chance FOR Cha cha

Cha Cha = Another term for GMA

Another Term for GMA = LONGEST LASTING POVERTY, CORRUPTION, DECEPTION AND LONGER YEARS FOR US IN THIS FOREIGN LAND!

boooo to the black dwaft from far east

two tumbs down GMA!

what 'security reasons' they meant here? I don't think pinoys are allowed to stage a protest here. NO way! Or they might face the consequences of their actions, far worst than retrenchment.

I was meant to go with my dad for this event but he said that the event organizers limited the invites for security reasons. So, now they're really strict on who they'll be inviting.. I guess I'm having dinner alone, at home. :(

pinoy workers laid-off. i believe there was a forum topic in QL related to this issue. I guess this is the reason why she will visit qatar ,to check if there's more pinoy workers to be sent home as a result of global financial crisis...
