Also. I visited petit pas recently and the receptionist was just plain rude. I areived on a double stroller w my 3 year old and a 3 mth old an she dint even offer to assist me in this blazing heat. She then went on to bluntly cut me off when i enquired about their summer camps, "full" thats all she said. She looked scruffy and untidy. She dint even bother to make me feel welcomed as i waited for the guide to arrive. Her onaolent behaviour led me to walking off prior to the guides arrival. Thankfully there wasnt a spot available. It wouldve been a poor choice on my part. Perles however was very welcoming but i felt ineasy as there were 2 male assistance in the school.. being a mother of 2 girls, i couldnt feel safe knowing 2 men are around my children. Also, LIFETIME nursery is fully equippes with cctvs and the main gate is only accessible if the receptionist(catherine), buzzes u in... for the nervous parent, the first 2 days, u can monitor ur child from the recep cctv to observe how well she is coping(obviously there will be tears and wails mind u but the comfort is a neccessity).

If anyone is still searching. I recommend lifetime nursery. Its sanitary and condusive as the learning space is large. Nannies are positive and loving. Teacher seems pleasant so far. And i appreciate the daily reports ive been receiving. They accept feedback in a gracious manner and act fast. So far.. so good

Hi everyone I just want to let you of my experience with the nurseries in Doha. I have a 2 year old boy that goes to Creative child at Riviera Gardens. Unfortunately this summer they close for holidays, and you know how hot it is in Doha to keep your two year old at home. I was very disappointed to find out than none of the other nurseries had hardly any facilities for the children to play in doors. While in creative child they have 5 rooms indoors: yoga room, soft play, indoor playground, gym, role play and construction area. My son is allergic to various foods and obviously sometimes we cannot help an accident to happen but they have deal with it in such a professional manner that I have nothing but gratitude for all the staff. Recently in my searching for nurseries I find out that some nurseries specially some that they call themselves “the leading nursery in Doha” is nothing but money making business. When I went there they found different excuses for not accepting my son, one of them that they don’t have enough staff to make sure that an accident won’t happen, that their staff are always rotating and don’t get to know the children well to make sure my son does not eat another child’s food. And with that on mind I realize how lucky I am that my son is in a Nursery where his condition is never been an issue and everyone is so loving and caring. While in this other nursery they discriminate my child just for being allergic. Let me tell you that in Creative Child they do Cooking adventure and they have birthday parties and they always find a way to do it, simply by washing Children hands. As a mother I highly recommend Creative Child Nursery so far the best in Doha.

I agree, Tots Corner is great! My 2 eldest went there and I am back with my youngest. I think it is getting better over the years..very organised, clean and lots of fun activities for the children. The staff and management are knowledgeable and friendly. The best in Doha!

I have a son there, really it's great. It's a British kindergarten but they made a fantastic balance between Arabic, English and Islamic studies. They have a high qualified native English speaker teachers for English subjects and high qualified Arab teachers for Arabic and religion. You should visit them. They are very close to your location in the c ring back side. Call them at 4666717 or 4666313 any time from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

hello I am moving to doha soon and will be living around Al-Abdulghani Tower, on airport road. I am a stay at home mom, but wanted to put my son in a nursery so that he can interact with other kids. I am looking for an english speaking nursery that will provide early arabic lessons, as i don't speak arabic. Also i want him to have early islamic education aswell. I want something that is very very clean, as my son as major allergies to dust, with a good educational and active environment. I was looking into Little Angels, but don't know how far that it or how it actually is. They are the only ones i know that have a website.

I can vouch Busy Bees 2 in Markhiyah (near Dahl al-Haman R/A) and Petit Pas. The headmistress, Yasmin Couch for Busy Bees 2 is a wonderful person and you can call her at 4834553. They are currently opened for summer as well.

Petit Pas near Onaiza R/A is another great recommendation if one is willing to fork out the amount of fees they are charging. But once you have experienced the treatment, you would know why they charge more as it is justifiable.

Our daughter goes to Busy Bees but due to timing problem, we had to change her to Petit Pas. But we left Busy Bees with an extremely heavy heart.

Now, our daughter has adjusted well to the change in school and she enjoys going to school every day.

You can find it in the small magazine section. It is generally located about 10m past the counter where you purchase mobile phones.

Right now the cover of the Marhaba has a photo of the Museum of Islamic Arts, but the new one is due to be out very soon.

Actually as a mom with a big experience in nurseries on the international and local level, i suggest and highly recomend "PETITS PAS NURSERY". After other experiences in Doha with my two sons, the PETITS PAS NURSERY is qualified with a french and english team with university degrees in education, a great program of international level, a beautiful ambiance warm and welcoming. you should visit to believe that this can exist in Doha.
