Can anyone help me with problem of getting rid of broken disused large items?

Sorry there doesn't seem to be a relevant "topic" for my question. Please could someone help me with the problem of getting rid of several broken/disused large items (filing cabinets and the like). Is there a number I can ring to arrange for these items to be collected? Can I take them to a "dump?"

We usually just put them outside next to the regular garbage and it gets picked up by the garbage collectors that come around for "big" items.

put them

out on the curb with a FREE sign on them. I bet they will quickly disappear.

i am not sure about that but u can check with the ppl how collect the garbage in the yellow truck ask them to come and collect ...i think this is the best way
