Brit, if you saw the price tag on some of these you would be reduced to tears... Heck, some of them are so expensive I feel almost guilty about pulling my dear husbands credit card out to pay for it :)

The abeya is really helpful to cover when wearing an evening dress to an event or if you were to go give condolences in Qatar. Also, its good to carry in the car for emergencies, say you are swimming or wearing shorts for the car they make a great cover-up. I wore one to the hospital once when I broke my ribs as the hospital is full of look loos and I was wearing clothes you wear on a boat. You can buy cheap ones at Souk Waqif.

but.... it just looks really naff that with such a 'high class' target market that
a) the spelling is crap
b) the cultural names down match the design.....
like some naffo Chinese import.....

You'd definately stand out in the crowd in one of these babies.
This shop is designer abayas, worn to parties and such. You dont see many of these stunners in public. I own 2 from this shop and they are getting pretty dusty (no time for parties, kids are too demanding)
