I have been trying to find the answer for this question. Is it appropriate for professional ex-pats to wear pant suits to work? I will be teaching at the University. Thanks in advance.

I was informed that pant suits are fine, even for formal meetings at govt offices. I asked around before I was due to attend such meetings.

Trouser suits are fine! just so long as u're sticking to work place rules concerning what it is u're allowed to wear, and you;re not being too revealing, you can actually wear pretty much what you wish!

I would ask some of the women at the University or visit and see what they wear. But I suspect pants/pants suits are fine.

For work, you can wear what you like, just be careful of showing too much skin, ie cleavage, legs, will not be worth the stares. Most women here wear trouser suits, you will probably need a jacket as freezing in office due to A/C.

Sure , why not ?

Trousers and formal suits are good for the workplace provided they fit one well.
