i think the visit visas are made with multiple entries now. Also as per what mentioned in the madina khalifa immigration dept office, the 6 months visa can be extended further. Practically whether it is possible ? you need to try and learn

Family visit visa mostly for 6 months.you can get reentry by paying fee to immi dept and can return within visa validity.

family resident permit is another job.(like mission to moon)Immigration dept(well labour dept) will check your visa status, your salary certi, supported by bank statement. And your qualification(wife's qualification is plus point)

once lion came to zoo.care taker gave him bananas to eat.lion amazed.

Care taker said what ever are you, your visa status is as monkey.

if she still doesnt have an ID, the easiest way i think is to bring her on Qatar Airways with tourism visa for one month extended to other month, and then when she enter you invert the visa to family visa and thus u can start her papers in order to get her ID

Good Luck

She need other family visa, family visit visa will be given only for a single entry, once she is out of qatar, current visa gets expired. before you leave for india, try to get RP so, she can come back on RP, if not get new visit visa before she plans to land back in doha.

A family visa is transferrable to an RP. She must be here on a regular visit visa. In any instance, as soon as she leaves the country the visa is cancelled and a new visa must be issued.
