Trasferring ownership of a used car

Can anyone explain the process of transferring ownership of a second-hand car here?

I know the new owner needs a letter of no objection from their employer which has details about the car.

Where do you go to do this (traffic department - where is it?)? What are the office opening hours?

Is the new registration card issued immediately?

Do both old and new owner need to be present?

How about transfering insurance?

Many thanks in advance for any replies.

Thanks. What are the opening hours of these traffic department offices? Do they print the new registration card then and there?

Dear you can go to any car show room, and you can give him your paper they will go to do all for you and you can come later to get car price from there and the buyer can receive his car,and you should pay maybe 100 QR for the show room, maybe more, upon their request,it's all!

the new owner just needs a no objection letter from the company to buy a car ( no details required) and letter not required in case of non company sponsors.

the transfer can be done in the madinat khailfa or gharaffa or airport or any other traffic police station....

the tranfer of insurance would require a letter from the current owner stating no objection to transfer insurance to new owner
