my brother got in here(doha) on a business visa, but that was 2 years ago.there's no risk naman using that visa.A friend of mine came here last july on a business visa also..but she's not working with that company.in short, they only used the name of that company,ok lang nman sa company na yun..now,she's seeking for a job--and last that ive heard is,may mapasukan na sya..
an endorsement letter from your business visa sponsor should be given to you as your supporting docs just in case somebody from immigration asks, if ever you dont pass the interview, you will not be able to fly here but just be confident for sure you will pass. do research about what kind of business you sponsor is into.
good luck!
THANKS EVERYONE! THANKS A LOT!

Hi No Name!
Hi TO ALL ANSWERED MY QUESTION
I NEED YOUR HELP AGAIN
The agency informed me already about the risk using Business Visa going to Qatar.. according to my agency immigration do random checked or interview .. but the question is ? WHAT WILL BE HAPPENED TO ME IF I DID NOT PASS THE INTERVIEW?. But my agency demanded that my employer in Qatar will send a letter for me.. just to pass in immigration.. "THE LETTER IS A TRAINING LETTER" stated that i will attend a training in Qatar.. just want to know EFFECTIVE PO BA UNG GANUNG STYLE? actually sure naman po na pagdating ko don sa Qatar my VISA will be converted to working visa according to my agency and employer.
The Phil Immigration do check randomly what will your business be here in qatar, but if you are lucky, you can get pass the immigration without further questions asked. if your holding a business visa, you are required to pay travel tax because only OFW's are exempted from these.
You will not undergo the regular procedures required by POEA for employees that are about to leave the country. just be sure that this visa will soon be converted to working visa upon your arrival because its only valid maximum 3 months.
if you have further questions, you can send me a PM.
Its normal to go to Qatar through business visa because the company can purchase this type faster than a working permit. I myself went to qatar through business visa, although I was a direct hired. We are now processing my work permit. By the way, you will need to send your actual passport, ticket and visa copy (do have photocopies of all three) to Qatar Embassy because the immigration office in the airport will require you to present an authentication of the visa. Sometimes the Philippines is so rigid, in this case, Qatar embassy has to authenticate that you do have a visa and that there is a company sponsoring you. This will take 5 working days. The embassy does not entertain walk you in, you just have to go to DHL or world Wide Express courier service and they will charge you about 400 for bringing to the embassy then back to you.
Piece of advice, make sure that the company you will be working for here is if not big at least known. Also, make sure that your agency in the Philippines is legitimate. There have been cases that when our kababayans arrive in Qatar they are informed that their salary is lower than agreed and signed upon as well as they will have a different occupation.
Hope all goes well with you and you trip :D
I do not see much risk in obtaining a business visa to come into Qatar as it will give you the liberty to look for a very good job. All there's need to be done is for you to be sure that the company that issued the biz visa for you will be willing to give you an NOC, which will enable you to transfer to the sponsorship of your new employer.
This is to the best of my knowledge.
Good luck!
It's a common procedure here to issue a Business Visa prior to getting the working visa, especially coming from abroad. The only issue will be, rumors have it, that the immigration here would not transfer a business visa to working type unless you've gone thru the proper procedure, i.e. POEA et.al. because Philippine Embassy advised the Qatar Gov't about the procedure in getting OFW. I don't know if that's true, but i have one of my female officemate transferred from business to working type, and there are some that claimed that they are denied.
Can anyone confirm this?
