What does one need to do to get a QDC liquor permit after getting a letter from the employer? Can moslems apply for a liquor permit? What about non moslems?

It is a typical form that one has to fill in, the usual person stats.

I don't have a single friend that has been denied a permit in the last decade due to religion. It is simply a process. As long as one has the back up documents to affix to the permit form, it is a quick, easy process

Torc....I have also heard that even if one were to have a letter from the employer there are questions asked at QDC...and paperwork filled out....to determine your relegion...based on which the permit is either issued or denied!!!! any insight?? Seems like a lot of trouble for a drink now and then \-:

Qatar only prevents Qatari's from obtaining a permit. As for other Muslims, like us all they have the right to personal choice.

As with anything in this country you need your sponsor's permission, so the company letter is required. It's also needed because your monthly liquor allowance is determined by your salary.
