What would be the approx price for a new small car like a Santro or Alto and which showrooms are they available in. Detail address will really help.
Thanks.

Do not think about Santro, Alto, Indica etc once you are in Qatar.

Even if you do not want to invest too much money in a car , better buy a mid-size car like a Corolla , Civic or Lancer. These are easier to re-sell(which as expats, should be our core consideration when buying a car).

As Hyundai cars do not have much of a resale value, I would suggest a second-hand Corolla. For about 40K, you might get a 2005-2006 Corolla, which after using for couple of years, you can sell at 3000 to 4000 less. You do not lose much money in the bargain. And any roadside mechanic can do the service for you, if you do not want to take it to the dealer.

Better than buying a Swift, which might cost you 50K brand new, and you will not get more than 30K when you resell.

Bottom line is- THINK ABOUT RESALE.

Hyundai Getz is QR35000 (1.4L) engine including insurance, i think. There is another low price model which will be QR30000. I forget the name. Show room is in Salwa road near Ramada signal and near to Jarir bookstore.

Suzuki is in Airport Road. Alto is the cheapest one.
