Hi everyone,

I was applying here in Qatar in the field of IT. I have 3 years experience in IT industry. I'm always offered 4,000QR as basic. I find it low so most of the time I didn't take the offer. If they ask me what's my expectation, what you guys suggest for me to get the job? I'm looking for suggestion specially for those who are already experienced here. mga kabayans, ano masasabi niyo?

I'm married and planning to take them. Seeking for advise, all advise are open.

What are the salary ranges so I can bring my family here?

Thanks

thank you for the advice kabayan.. i'm really thinking about it. yeah, its true, i'm just earning 2,000QR(estimated) in the philippines, I can save here more knowing I just have 3 years experience. is it true that there is a salary range so i can bring my family here?

im also open to other advice from other nationalities please do, i really need it. :)

Thanks,

ok. sorry for that. il stick to english language on my next comment.

what i had advise him was to grab the offer since its very little chance of him to get higher salary because of his 3 yrs experience. and his wish to bring his family, he wanted to get them as soon as possible. but in his situation, i doubt he can get them at this time. maybe if he could be hired in a government then thats the time he could have that benefit of bringing his family. or if he could find a private employer who could give him 7k as basic salary. but as ive said, it isnt possible since he has little work experience.

take note of my brother's situation, he was given only 3500 as basic. he is microsoft, cisco license holder.and now hired as technical support engr.

and with respect of bringing family here, my cousin earns not that much but was able to bring his family after a year. because his employer favored him about bringing his family.

for him, he should be patient and grab the opportunity he has been offered. in the Philippines, i doubt he could earn that much. in time, when he saves more and when he show his loyalty to his company, he'll get the chance to bring his family with him.

pero its up to you pa rin.

goodluck to you!
