Even I got allotted 3 Bed Room Flat in Sailiah. The telephone operator/receptionist of Barwa told that I have to sign the contract sometime in the month of December, 2008 whereas possession will be given in the first quarter of 2009.

According to Barwa sources their housing project is located just behind Hayat Plaza, but some of my friends are telling the actual location is very far from city (i.e. after 10 to 15 KM from Industrial Area Fort R/A. So which is correct location. Can anyone tell me where exactly the Barwa Housing compleex at Sailiya is located.

Anybody who gets the barwa houses should accept it without any hesitation because:

1. It has a lot of facilities.

2. The convenience for the children to play.

3. The convenience for shopping (I guess they have planned that too).

4. The rent rates are very good at QR 3,000 (+ water +electricity I guess).

5. The rooms are big enough compared to the partitioned rooms available at these rent rates.

6. It is very near the Doha Zoo, Aspire/Khalifa Stadiums, Wholesale Fruit/Veg and Fish Market in the Industrial Area.

7. If you have an accident the repair/workshop is also relatively near.

8. If you happen to be a Christian then the Church too is very near.

9. When the Fort Roundabout flyovers are complete the place will be a dream to stay.

10. Enough parking place.

11. Common Hall to hold parties/celebrations.

The only concern would be “how tolerant people will be to other’s customs, beliefs & way of life”....since there will be people from almost all countries there.
