GCC Economy relatively insulated??

Yeesh! switched on cnbc today and its a tide of RED!! worldwide bourses sharly lower and oil prices falling below $84/barrel. while I know the ME is not spared, sincerely hope this contagion would not affect gulf states (and my job) as seriously as the folks back in london and the us. I mean, that's why I'm here in the first place right..... :)
