I'm a foreigner under family visa (my father is my sponsor and he is under work visa)
We will be back to our country but I wanna apply for one of universities here.

1. I heard that new Qatar law says that anyone who "cancel" their visa cannot get any of visas for Qatar-even tourist visa. Is it true???????????????????

2. Also after canceling a family visa, is there any problem to get a student visa within 8months?
I know it is impossible for work visa, but I guess it would be quite different between work visa and student visa.

Please give your advice:-)

Or should I contact to any other government websites or something for futher information?

Wow then I have no problem! My father was dispatched here only for 2years, so I guess there won't be any problems to get NOC. Now I'm relieved:-D Thanks a lot!

Correction: cannot get a new visa within two years of the old RP being cancelled without an NOC.

As far as anyone knows about this new law, no one can get a new visa of any kind for Qatar once their RP has been cancelled UNLESS they have an NOC from their previous sponsor. It should be a matter of obtaining an NOC from your Dad's sponsor. Good luck. We will all know more about this new law in the upcoming weeks.
