The Qatar National Cancer Society/Think Pink Breast Cancer Walk is being held on October 25th 2008 starting at 5:00pm.
Registration is being held starting October 5th at the Qatar National Cancer Society. You can also visit our website at www.thinkpinkqatar.com and download the forms.

We are excited about the walk which was delayed back in September due to the much welcomed celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan. Thank you for your patients and support.

Thinkpinkqatar,I've been following the progress of the Cancer Walk for some time, and downloaded the registration forms months ago.
But I was extremely disappointed to read that I would have to raise QR 5,000 in pledges, collected and turned in to QNCS before the event, to be able to participate.
There is no way I would be able to participate under those terms, and I assume this would keep many people from participating in your fundraiser.
I've taken part in many such events in the US and have never seen any requirement other than a reasonable registration fee, typically in the neighborhood of $25-30.
