We have moved in Qatar for 4 weeks. I am going to hire a Philipino nanny for my 18 months old son. How much should I pay her? Also I'd like to know how much cost to sponsor her and to get her working visa? Thanks a lot.

A salary of 300-400US$ will be good enough. Sponsoring one will cost you probably 2000US$.

It all depends, but the usual is $200 min - $400 max.

Good luck.

If you are here only for 4 weeks you cant sponsor her.

If you mean you have been here for 4 weeks you can, but if she is a local hire it may be tricky to sponsor her and such. Her current sponsor must not be a company or a local. Also, you will have to apply for a visa for her nationaily and then she should leave the country to come back on the work visa.

Better to try an agency
