I am looking for a chance to avail of a visit visa for my wife. she is in Bahrain right now. How long it will take to apply for a visit visa for a person, what are the requirements, how to apply and how much will it cost and for how long visitors could stay in Qatar?

Yes Dear Friend. You can easily get a family visit visa or Family Visa even.

The time period for getting a residence permit:

Once you reached here on Actual Residence Visa(Somebody coming on Business Visa and they change) You have to take Medical + Finger Print. It will take Maximum 10 Days. Once the Finger Print is over Next day you can submit and get visa + ID Card On the next day.

well its great to hear that from you. actually, I am also still in Bahrain right now but I will be moving first to qatar for a work assignment. may I ask also how long will it take for me to have a residence permit in qatar (the earliest possible). Then after maybe I could move on to the next step. Yup my wife is working on a visa in Bahrain. about my profession here I am working as a building architect. I just want to make sure that the position and visa I could have in qatar will be on the professional line. Big thanks! hope to hear from you again!

Does she have a valid residency/Work visa in Bahrain?. Then she will be able to get visa on arraival.

Otherwise, According to your profession and salary per month(Atleast 2000 pm) you can apply for a family visit visa for your wife.

Procedure is very simple.

You should have Marriage Certificate Attested Copy + A No objection letter from your sponsor + Your ID CardCopy + Your Passport Copies + Your Labour Agreement Copy + your wife's PP copy.

Fill an application Form(Available at any typing center) Directly go to Emmigration and submit. Next day itself u will get visa for your wife. It's a Six Month visa. Initially you have to Pay 200 + 20 Visa charge for the First Month. If she plans to stay long, she has to take Medical and you can renew her visa for next five months.

Best of Luck
