Thanks for all your comments. No, Im not a Virgo, Im a Pisces, we don't plan! We ended up going to Le Notre, it was pricey but the food was excellent and the staff are lovely. The best bit was after the meal watching the little kids dressed up singing on stage!! Plus wondering whether the kids ever go to bed when they are serving sweets and condensed milk at 9pm to them!! ha, love it!
They served us off prawns and shrugged about it. Tai Chai is excellent, Romanos not bad at all, Le Notre good, but pricey. Not tried Layali, but the version in Salwa Rd is very good. TGI etc are as you would expect.

We went to TGI. French onion soup was awesome but the rest of it was pretty pants. Italian place near The One is good scran:)
