Hi to everyone, I am a Filipino licensed civil engineer; 24 years old having a 3 years of work experince in a water utility firm here in the philippines. I had a job offer in doha, qatar for a position as project/water engineer same working experience of my current job. May I ask about the compensation package offered to me. The company is Gulf House of Trade and Contracting Company. If ever I will accept the job I'm the only one to go to qatar. It consist of the following:
1. free air ticket, Manila-Doha, Doha-Manila
2. free housing and transportation accomodation
3. health benefits
4. 200 QR for my food allowance
5. company provide kitchen facilities icluding gas, etc.
6. net pay/month of 5000QR
7. 2 years contract
8. vacation wiil be after 2 years but renewable contract
for now the offer is ok considering you will be hired from the Philippines and not locally. most companies have the same inclusions as what u hav mentioned. in time, bonus and increase will come so don't worry...
yup!. As of now I am trying to have a higher paid job there but it seems that I have no chance of having it.. I think it was too low; furthermore, I am afraid because we will shoulder the food and yet food allowance is only 200QR. Also I don't know how to cook.
