Your saving depends on how many members are there in your family who will be staying with you in Qatar. 8000 AED/QAR in current situation would mean less savings if you go for a family accomodation. With a bachelor accomodation you can sort of manage to some extent. Assume that company is not providing you accomodation.

I assume that your housing will be paid as well. Housing can run as much as 15,000QR per month. 8,000 doesn't seem like alot of money to me to live in Qatar and save alot of money. You will have to be very frugal.

You did not mention if the accommodation is provided by the company or not. House rents are quite high here in Qatar and not sure what is the situation in UAE.

If your compensation includes house rent, then it is on lower side.

Ask your employer to provide you the accommodation.
