We have decided to spend Christmas in Doha and was wondering if anyone could recommend the nicest hotel to dine in. Something child friendly would be great.
X-mas or no x-mas... Neva look out 4 a place when it comes down 2 havin Fud...!!! As far is it goes, de best places 4 kids 2 enjoy is sumwher where der is a playground... Hardeez, Burger King etc. But if u really wanna giv it a gud memory, try organizin a beach party along wit close friendz and der kids over BBQ... Wot more fun can u call 4 when u hav de nature wit u :)
Most of the hotels do a nice buffet, and almost all are kid friendly, with special menu and play areas. Santa might visit as well.
Now - here's the controversial bit. Many non-westerners also celebrate Xmas. Nothing wrong with that. But the smoking will do your head in, even in the kids area. I'm a bit of a Marlboro fan myself, but even I had to leave the Intercon after about 2 hours last year.
Ask the hotel if there will be a non-smoking area, or better still, if they are offering a smoke-free dining room. Then you'll be fine! And let us know please!!
