dont come to qatar at all plus ur from india the reason u dont get a call is maybe there is stoppage of indian visa dont leave ur country for slavery here. now india is IT giant itself there are better countries and normally people are leaving states to come back to india...forget ths badoo place unless ur family has been here and ur trying to come and live with them thats different story. its way expensive here and its not worth it and IT was like crap here nothing exciting happened in qatar in IT.

forget qatar its better to live in your home country like king there then to be slave here

India is still good place for IT.

Even I am thinking to move to India from Kuala Lumpur,if I get some decent offer. Indian IT salary is getting better and better everyday. Also the living cost in India is cheaper. I can see many Indians working in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore are moving back to India and getting nice offer there.

Anyway best of luck.

As far as online job application concern-they sucks, no use, I never got any job via online application despite sending thousand and thousand of resume and registering hundreds of them. All useless, just collecting data and advertising only.

It's unlikely that a company will hire low level IT staff who aren't already in the country.

And the salaries for IT staff tend to be quite low - I only know of one IT job that's being recruited at present, and it's paying less than 4,000QR with accomodation, so it's not as though it's really big money.

Basically everything NB said is true.

I think purusing an IT job in Doha would be a waste of time for you. Surely you can find a job in India for IT?

Get a visit visa and come here and put your ad in the papers and visit recruitment agency in person.

If you want it you got to work for it. Sitting in india you will find it difficult to get a job here.

This past week I have received around 40 CVs, all sent on spec to my private email address from guys in Indonesia offering me their services. I have no job to offer them!

This is just one of the many reasons.

Mostly employers prefer to have locally hired applicants for they will be paying less fees, like processing fees, visa fees & ticket. If you have relatives or friends who can provide you a visit visa then you will have a better chance of getting your dreams come true.
