salary of a sales engineer?

I m getting a job of 5k qr in qatar along with shared accomodation and car mobile exp an petrol exp.is it good enough to go over there or should i negotiate more.my country of origin is india and i hav six yrs of exp in electronic security industry.how much can i save there

I would recommend you to ask for the salary not less than 7.5 K for your experience with all the benifits. I am also in the field of Security Systems - Sales.

Sales eng with 5+ years of exper should get in the range of 7.5 - 10k min with all expense paid, ie furnished house with family, anual tickets, medical ins...etc, children education. since your in sales you should ask ur company to define the bonus scheme.
