OK this is my third attempt!! SOUQ HOURS!
I've posted this on the end of the Ramadan Shopping thread in General Forum; I've posed it as a Question in the Q&A thing so, now, as a last resort - here goes AGAIN! Grrrrr
Souq opening hours during Ramadan? Anyone know? ...
I DID do a search, but couldn't find anything about the souqs. To be honest I don't even know what their usual opening hours are! Maybe the hours are the same as normal, whatever those times are ...
I am particularly interested to know about the Omani Souq and that area where they sells plants, fruit and veg.
I know I could drive by and look, but any indication of their opening times would be appreciated. I imagine the fruit 'n veg, in particular, would be open very early in the morning so may close early also.

My point being, if you want to be almost sure a place will be open, use the hours mentioned, otherwise you risk a wasted journey

mabrook jauntie on your successful third attempt..:) perseverance and tenacity are fruitful..:)
but for sure they do open at friday night time from seven onward.
Most are open all hours! Well, the major ones anyway like LuLu and Megamart.
I just didn't know the souq hours (plant market)
So the Omani Souq IS closed for a good part of the afternoon. Thank you SO much for the information - you've saved me a wasted journey in horrid traffic.
Hugs!
Oh just one thing .... would that be every day the same during Ramadan, even Friday?
I'd guess that ALL shops will work these hours, regardless of which souq or mall they are in.
