I am leaving Qatar for good and as part of my severance package. My company said that they will pay for 120KGs of unaccompanied luggage.

what is the best way to ship a large box to the States.

DHL... Sounds expensive but sure is safe & fast :)

Check with your airlines first. When I came to Doha from US in Qatar Airways, I checked in 4 large bags, 2 of them were free of charge. The extra 2 were charged 200 dollars each, which is far less than the quote I received from US and other international freight agencies.
