Maine Coon cats actually need a special permit to own... They cannot export the cat to Qatar because of this, and they are huge!!! and as Mercia said, oh so hard to care for.

Maine coon cats take a lot of looking after, aside from thier long hair they suffer with liver problems. Pretty cats though.
