My basic concern is the resale value. i am planning to live in qatar only for 2 years. so please suggest me which car i should buy, Nissan Altima 2.5 or Honda Accord. also please advise me which islamic bank is better here to get a car loan.

all your comments are most welcome.

Dear,

SPARES:

you are planning to use it for 2 years only, then spare parts should not be your concern. None of these cars will need REAL parts replacments in 2-3 years. Just a couple of filters.

RESALE:

well, Camry holds price the MOST. Then comes Accord and finally Altima.

OPTIONS:

Altima has CVT (a modern transmission system and unique driving experience).

Altima is equiped with a pushbotton to start engine :).

Altima has more horsepower.

Accord on the otherhand is more durable car with classic built.

SHAPE:

as per your preference.

RESULT:

Altima is more joyful, take it and enjoy.

Accord is more durable but you will sell soon and don't need the durability.

Regards

For Rozar

First of all, I appreciate your opinion, but I think u have a poor knowledge in cars.

Second,I am not an owner of those all cars, but I know all about them...How do u know dat Altima is costly more than Accord for maintenance...u r not right...All spare parts in Honda Agency are more expenseve than Altima cuz most of these parts are required to change it in the Agency...and it is too expensive, but u can change cheaply any parts of Altima or Canmry in Altyseer company...I know well about these vehicles... and I agree via u about Accord it is fabulous car .. comfortable...maybe for resale it is like camry or less approximately 4 or 5 thousands....

Altima is the third one of these for resale..I dont know y ?? but it is the market...

so now u have either Camry or Accord

maybe as i mentioned they r both have the same resale value and a little more for camry...but with the spare parts u will lose more money with an ACCORD....SO take a CAMRY ....

remember... I like the Accord more than camry, but if i wanna it for two years and dont wanna to pay more on it .. I ll take camry directly....

Good Luck

both are worthless an has no style or personality..

go for a good and approved used european or american.

if you insist on JAP car; go for TOYOTA AVALON.

it's simply the best Jap sidan ever produced.

the rest will date quickly and go out of style.

dont be afriad to be uniqe and different, stand out man..

Nissan Altima any day.

Reasons,

Altima Spares are cheaper than Honda

Altima is Amercian manufactured - More Leg & Head Room

Altima also has a great sound system

Being an owner of Altima, its more on power than an Accord. Altima is 2.5 & Accord is 2.4

Nissaan service center's are also good.

But if you ask my final opinion, i dont prefer a saloon car for qatar roads, so many pot holes and no standard size speed humps. Higher and bigger car better car.

Honda is also a great car, My dad loves honda anyday.

For qatar, I prefer Toyota and that too the Land Cruiser.

Jazak Allah Khair

They are both good Japenese cars made out of coke cans. Reliable and hold their value in this part of the world. Not the same story in other parts of the world. If you really want to think like an Indian and hold on to your money then go for a Camry like someone else suggested.

No one mentions your request to where to find an Audi or VW, and I am not surprised. People here are obsessed by Japanese cars and don't have a clue of anything else.

Getting a Second hand VW or Audi will give you a lot more driving pleasure than a Japanese Car.

You can contact the Audi VW dealer to see what he got in stock , but I also suggest you go to the Showrooms on Salwa Roads and check out the various Classified AD's on QL, in Gulf Times, www dot qatarsale dot com is also a good site.

If you go for japanese, buy Honda

Regards

Vignale

PS! Got 4 cars, 2 American, 1 German and 1 British and love it.

First of all, Thanks for your wish !! and U too have a happy Weekend ...

It will be a dilemma for each every one of us to select !

But, when looked upon the resale value, I strongly recommend you to go for Honda Accord. It just looks good and not only that, It got bigger leg rooms when compared to Nissan Altima. One more thing, which u didnt mention but, its about the maintenance cost. Nissan spare parts are costlier than the Honda's spare parts ...

So taking all these criterias into consideration,

---> HONDA ACCORD goes first and u will feel it !!!

For lion100, Toyota camry LOST its glory !!! Its no where in the top sales list in Qatar. Main thing is that, the predecessor model is a complete failure and its been given for the TAXI company. And not only that, Its not good now when compared to these two models...

its again Accord. Its a good car. Al Jazeera Bank is good car loan and they have easy steps. You can just pop in to there office in Salwa road near DHL. Good Luck.

for value....Altima and accord r both equal...a little more fore honda sometimes...but if u r interested in values after 2 years then

my advice to u is to leave Altima an Accord and get a TOYOTA CAMRY... THIS VEHICLE IS A CHEQUE IN YOUR POCKET...

Hi,

Being an owner of a Honda Accord for 2years, i would strongly recommend Accord based on the following:

* Honda quality.

* stability on the road (weighs 1490kg).

* best after sales support and service.

* Best quality of sound system.

* Strong body/safety features.

* Nice shape.

considering the above, i believe you will find it easy to take a decision accordingly,

best regards,

Jabs
