Qatar Labor Law regarding Resignation

Please help!! Can somebody advise me about Qatar Labor Law regarding resignation. I just resigned from my company giving them 30 days notice . The problem is my boss doesnt allow me to leave inspite of giving them enough time to look for my replacement. He is now treating me in the ground of abrogation of contract to stop me from leaving. . What should I do? I cant stand stay working with my boss anymore.. Thank you!!
In case the Employee is in "Business work Visa" in same company.He will finished the 3 months probation period due to salary problem he resigned the job with one month notice period it also completed 4 months. Now company is not settling their pending salary. they told to wait 1 week as per the discussion the employee waited 10 days but till not get their salary. what we do in this situation? where we complaint? Any possibilities to get the salary ?
we share da same case. i gave a week more , after my 2 month-notice. after dat, ill be going to the phl labor dept so to ask some advice. i dnt want to work after da said 1 week extension.
Article 49
If the service contract is of an indefinite duration any of the two parties thereto may
terminate it without giving the reasons for the termination. In this case the party
intending to terminate the contract shall notify the other party in writing as follows:
1. In respect of the workers who receive their wages annually or monthly, the
notification shall be given not less than one month prior to the date of the
termination. If the period of service is five years or less. If the period of service
is more than five years, the notification period shall be at least two months
prior to the date of termination.
2. In all other cases the notification shall be given in accordance with the
following periods :
• If the period of service is less than one year the notification period
shall be at least one week.
• If the period of service is more than one year and less than five years
the notification period shall be at least two weeks.
• If the service period is more than five years the notification period
shall be at least one month.
If the contract is terminated without observing these periods, the party
terminating the contract shall be obligated to compensate the other party for
an amount equivalent to the wage for the notice period or the remaining part
thereof.

check out the website of the ministry of labor, all info regarding qatari law on employment will be there. i have a friend who run into some trouble with his company as they will not let him to resign, he went to the ministry of human rights and they told him exactly how to deal with his employer, within days his problem was resolved
Request the boss again to leave u as per the law. If he is not ageeing, better to complain in Labour Department.
