Renewal of Visa after 6 months

I am asking this for one of my friend.

His wife left to India before 2 months for delivary.
Probably she can come only after January/Feb.
But her Visa may expire coz she may cros 6 mnths at that time.
Is any provisions here to get renew the visa even after it expired with some valid reasons?

I dont think,u need any medical or general reason for it..All, you can is to pay a fee for extending your exit stay for more then 6 month outside of the country.
