salary and savings

I have got an offer as General Technician in Grade 9 from QP in its Dukhan plant. I am having a family and a daughter aging 2 years. The basic salary offered to me is QR 8000. Whether this salary is a good salary and I much I will be able to save out it. Can u please advice me.

ALso I want to know the cost of living in dukhan plant and qatar for my family.

If you going to work in Dukhan, where you going to based your family at?

If you based your family in Doha, you will have to travel Doha - Dukhan which is about 90kms one way.

How about schooling? Where you going to send your daughter for her schooling? How about flight and medical?

8000 is very good

if accomodation is provided well be fine otherwise u will get arround 7000 as acco. allounce..

Are they going to give u transpotation allounce !

please tell the whole salary structure ...is accomodation provided..dukhan is another city in qatar...not very dynamic and hence cost of living might be lower...if accomodation is provided...then u can decide based on the opportunities in ur home country and qualifications...cheers
