My wife and my son will soon be going here in Doha under my family sponsorship. Now my question is about the immunisation of my son. Where can we get the immunisation? In Bahrain, they have governement health centers that gives is for free. Do we also have this in Qatar?
There is Vaccination Unit here under the Health Ministry. They provide immunization for free not only for kids...also for travelling adults.
The location is at Abuhamour area beside Abuhamour petrol station. They're opened Sunday thru Thursday. Bring your son there with his immunization records if there's any.
A little bit off-topic, but in the UK today they have been reporting a potentially large increase in measels because not enough parents are ensuring that their children recieve the single immunisation against Mumps, Measels and Rubella (otherwise known as the MMR immunisation). If you have the chance you should ask you doctor about this as it is very important.

once you get Resident permit stamped in here, register yourself with the health centre, they will take care of the immunisation for your kid.
Hope it helps.
have been researching about vaccination for quite a while and came to know that there is NO benefit to any vaccinations.
I used to make sure my kids got all their shots , thinking I'm doing them something good,BUT how wrong I was...
