Corporate Finance..thoughts?
Hi All,
I am planning to join a KPMG's Corporate Finance division here in Qatar.
Just wanted you guys thoughts on the following:
1) How big/small is the Corporate Finance market in Qatar
2) What do you think are the prospects here for growth, especially after the huge expectations around QFC?
3) How much pay should I expect at an Associate Level in a Big 4 (its a big 4 not an Investment Bank)
4) Do you think it is possible from here to switch to Dubai in case things dont work out well in terms of exposure and money...as in is it easy to find a job in Dubai / Bahrain based on the experience in Doha
5) any clues about howz KPMG's reputation in the Corporate Finance in Qatar..any ideas about their pipe - line etc. also is there a way I can get Qatar Investment banking league table??
the corporate finance market in qatar is growing substantially over the past few years and KPMG Corporate finance has been able to develop the market and execute
interesting transactions.
There are about 10 people in the department and more new recruits are expected to join.
QFC entities, banks and large corporations have been growing very aggressively. so growth prospects should be good.
Im sure u wouldnt want to move to KPMG Dubai..... after joining KPMG Qatar.
Reputation of KPMG Corproate finance is excellent. KPMG has been recognised as employer of choice.
If u really want to know about the pipelines...I will check with my husband when he gets back home tonight....he heads the KPMG Corporate finance in DOha................ :)))))))))))))))))))))
