Doubt Related to Networking Enviornment
We three people are using computer in the office through network. My computer screen is having a password to open.Today when I open my computer I saw the following message.
Windows Registry Recovery - "One of the files containing the system's registry data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful"
If any expert, please clarify my following doubts:
1. Anybody in our network other than me can recover the data from my computer, because I didn't try to recover?
2. Other people in our network can get the msn chatting details even if I am not saving it?
3.If so any solution to block others to do so?
I am not an expert in this and requesting your help.
It's very easy to have someone snooping or listening for MSN chat conversations on your network, Your computer security depends not only on the user name and password but on many other factors, including and not limited to Spyware, and other malicious programs, not to mention if you are using an un-encrypted wireless connection where ur chat, passwords, and other data can be snooped easily over the air..
I suggest you have an expert to assess your PC/Network environment.. and if security is a serious issue for your laptop/pc/network usage then an expert assessment is a must..
;)
the messages in the msn messenger is not saving automatically as I didn't choose that option. Still the other personcan see my chatting details?
