that sounds so delicious..I've made garlic bread for years that has been "so-so" but yours sounds buttery and moist so I will try it with the spaghetti tomorrow night.
hmmm i hear my name being mentioned yet again......lol
here's how i do garlic bread:
butter(slightly salted ones)
lotsa garlic (pounded in pestle and mortar)
parsley(fresh or dried)
ground parmesan(the ones in the bottle )>that you put in yr spaghetti
NOW- mix all them ingredients together and whilst doing so, do it with lotsa TLC (yep makes them taste better-winks)
ya can make loads of the spread and keep it in a container in the fridge for when ya need it.
also ya can make extra baguettes and have them in yr freezer for whenever ya need them(that is how i do it........always have abt 4-6 tubes in my freezer , ya never know when ya might need them)
now spread the baguettes with this garlic butter spread and now roll the baguette in a foil and grill it in yr oven or over the bbq till nice and done. if on the bbq dont forget to keep turning it to avoid it getting burnt. now if using the oven/grill say 200C/400F for 10-15 mins (depending on yr oven)
garlic bread should be nice, golden and a lil crispy on the outside and nice and buttery on the inside
there ya go , easy to prepare, wonderful as an accompaniment to soups, salads, pastas even bbq's........
happy cooking folks..........:D

i hate this thread! :P
its not a garlic bread but i think you would like it. you must have an italian spice powder, anywhere in hypermarket theres an italian spice in a spice section. balsamic vinegar, OLive oil, fresh chopped garlic, and any bread but i must preferred french bread. mix olive oil, lots of chopped garlic and italian spice, then put in a glass container. and stored it.
now if your hungry take about 2 tbsp of balsamic and add the olive oil mixture. then dip the bread yumm yumm!! especially if the bread is hot. enjoy!!!!
Ok everyone. I'm about to let you in on the secret to the best garlic bread ever.
Cream cheese.
Use the ingredients that everyone suggested above...but add crrrream cheese too!!! It makes a wonderful garlic bread!
Prepare your garlic butter by mixing soft butter with pressed garlic.
Get a baguette, make slices/pieces(diagonally looks pretty) but not the whole way thru, spread the mixture of the garlic butter inside the openings. Wrap your baguette in alu foil and place in the oven for a short while just so that your bread gets hot & butter really melts into the bread. Just when you are about to serve take off the foil. People will ba able to take a piece of the precut bread.... yummy.

I saw one of those star chefs making garlic bread by scrubbing raw garlic on the toasted bread. They were actually making bruscheta like that.
Anyway, for regular garlic bread just mince some fresh garlic and add butter (real butter, not margarine). Spread on the bread and toast it in the oven. Yummy.
