my place of work will be on al waab street, opp. tower of khalifa stadium.

pls. guide about the following,

1)Walking discance will be extremely hard to find, you may find in surrounding areas, to the east you'll find lots of compounds kinda of expensive, north aspire area (no flats),to the south there is al Azizea (cheap flats and north west Old AL Ryan (also cheap flats but the area is not that bright).

2) There is a lots of restaurants in al-Azizya i think there are some Indian resturants (but don't know about north Indian)also there are two good Turkish restaurants.

The nearest places to live will be Salwa Road, Aziziya etc..these are all not walkable distance. Even if you stay pretty close... its difficult to walk due to the extreme hot weather for six months. only three months will be pleasant. So you need your own transport or arrange a pvt taxi to pick you and drop you from work.

Aryas is a good veg restaurant, they do home delivery (monthly basis) lunch/Tiffin.

Well you'll find villas mostlyin that area, Actually its bit costly area to live, BTW Doha is not very big, u can stay anywhere, and go to work from there, and ofcourse it'll not be a walking distance.

Am afraid U have to do tifan service there, no Indian resturant in that area. R u going to work with FMC ?
