My friend, you are better off than thousands of others who are struggling to earn Qar:3500/- a month.

Your concern for savings should be supported by your education, skill and experience.

If you have the inclination you can create wealth.

But on the other hand, no denying your valid point that cost of living in Qatar has sky-rocketed over the past few years in particular.

All the best to you and hope you save enough for a life time...

My friend

As long as u r batular, yeh it is possible to save + 3500 QR per month. As per ur offer It seems u have to arrange every thing of ur own. Make sure u have to live in a shared accomodation which will cost u at least QR 1000 to QR 1500 pm + another QR 1000 (Max) on food items including other activities which will include internet, telephone and so on. GOod luck.

Hi

It is possible though alittle tight. For living expenses wise, you probably could survive at about 1K. Bills, calls probably another 200, transport is tricky. It depends on what you are going for. Petrol is about 30~40 is about a full tank for 1.5~1.6litre. Buses is not as convenient as you think. So is taxi.

Probably if you elaborate more we can help you guage better. Also during your first 2 or 3 months of visit, you may need to also consider thing like medical coverage, your RP application and process, initial setup of your place and the temp transition. I have seen some accomodation shared with only a room for round 1.8K to 2.2K. Not sure about the details.

Hope these helps.
