IELTS General and Practice materials

I have applied for migrating to Australia through Skill category. I have to get 6 score from IELTS (General) for each (listening, reading, writing and speaking) to success my application.
In my first attempt, I got 6 for each except for listening
In my second attempt, I got 6 for each except for speaking
If I can consolidate two certificates, I have 6 for each.
Is it acceptable to the Australian Immigration?
Kindly, reply to the above on your experience.
How can I get good prctice materials for this test?
Have you registered for the next exam yet? That's the first thing that you should do. If you need some specmen materials go to the British Council- costs around 100QR
As far as I know, you CANNOT use two different certificates for immigration. If I were you, I would INVEST in buying some books with practice tests. These are to be found at Family Bookstore on Al Nasr street. Go for the Cambridge series- purple/black colour. There are 6 in the series. Buy at least two of them, but remember that you're taking the General Training Test, so you'll need to check the chapters and see how many are devoted to this test. I've seen so many canditates take the test and have done badly because:
a)Their English level wasn't up to scratch
b)They weren't prepared
c)Think that they can depend only on the speaking to get a good mark
d)Have no idea of what's expected of them
There are lots of sites that can give tips/hints on the exam itself. My advice is though to invest in at least two books to give you some practice before hand. Try and do a little every day- so if you have a month before your next test, spend an hour a day, say doing a writing test, the next a listening test and so on. The worst thing you can do is cram everything in the night before.
Good luck.
Planning my next holiday- any ideas?
