Visa type while purchasing leasehold property
Did any one will please answer me what type of visa we will be getting if we bought leasehold property in Qatar and will it be possible to work on that visa and more important can i leave my existing job and allow my company to cancell my work permit and can come down on new visa immediately.
If we cannot work or run a business independantly, why should we invest on properties here? It sounds bit ridiculous for me!!!
A leasehold property entitles you to a non-working visa. Legally, you are not allowed to be employed or run your own business in Qatar with these kind of visas. But practically you can get away with working or having some arrangement to run a business here. But you need to make sure you don't have 'enemies' who would have some motivation to give in on you to the authorities... who would then be hesitantly required to take some action against you...
Well as far as i know, u can't work on that visa. u have to have another sponsor to work.
