dating in totally prohibited if u were talking about dating in Qatar , so :) just 4get it , just stick to Asians and that's it
That was not a Qatar Living thing, that was (ads by google) service, and here is the explanation:
- What is (ads by Google):
It's a service provided by google for more oriented and dedicated way of announcing for products and events.
- Why Dating? and in Qatar?
There are two scenarios I can think of right now as a programmer about the way the ads engine was designed, which I'm sure that google has taken in consideration to get such results.
1st scenario: Location:
Google ads engine is checking the first sector of your IP address which refer to your country, so if you are openning QL from Qatar you will see most of the ads about Qatar or the region, and try to open from Canada for example, you will see all the ads turned to be about Canada and that region only.
2nd scenario: Repeatability of words:
This explains why most of the ads her about dating, since QL had too many posts, threads and comments about dating lately, you will see such ads, and here how it works:
The ads engine software looks for the word that was mostly mentioned in that specific page or the other related pages, and considers it as the word of interest, which assumes that the user is interested in stuff about this word, so it searches the ads data base and post there the ads about dating in your specific location.
i.e. try to open a page with more "cars" word, you will see the adds are about cars.

Those are nothing but avatars, most of those photos don not present the real ones.
QL is not a dating website, some people think so and trying their luck but always get what do they deserve. The ladies here on QL are aware of this and smart enough to ignore these attempts.
They are using rotating Google ads which 'read’ the site and try to post something relevant. In theory it helps companies get their message out to the proper audience. You were probably looking at a post that said something about dating or women.
